This pancake recipe is as easy as Sunday morning and as delicious as any out there. They’re gluten-free and feature morsels of deliciousness thanks to our chopped dates. There’s no better (or more satisfying) way to start the day.

  • 1 1/2 cups oat flour
  • 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup Sunsweet® chopped dates


Combine the dry ingredients in one bowl. Combine wet ingredients separately in another bowl. Add the dry ingredients to the wet, stirring to integrate. Stir in the chopped dates last.
Heat a skillet over medium high heat. Add 1/4 cup batter to the skillet (I use an ice cream scoop). Turn when tops are bubbling, after 1-2 minutes. Cook on other side for another minute, until cooked through. Serve with favorite toppings and enjoy.
