Ingredients
- 4 slices challah (1 1/4" thick)
- 3 Tbsp butter, divided
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup half and half
- 1/4 cup Sunsweet® Orange Essence Amaz!n™ Prunes, chopped
- 2 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 Tbsp powdered sugar
- 6 Tbsp ricotta cheese
- Powdered Sugar, mini chocolate chips and finely grated orange zest (optional)
Instructions
Pour any remaining egg mixture over the top and drizzle with remaining butter. Let stand for 30 minutes or until egg mixture is absorbed by the bread, tiping pan occasionally. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until lightly browned. Place on four plates and sprinkle with powdered sugar, chocolate chips and orange zest, if desired.
