Ingredients

1 cup Sunsweet Amaz!n Prunes

1 1/4 cups water

3 tablespoons brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

2 cups heavy whipping cream

1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

Zest of 1/4 orange

Directions

Line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with plastic wrap, leaving overhang on the sides.

In a saucepan, combine prunes, water, brown sugar, cinnamon, and ginger.

Simmer over medium heat for 10–12 minutes, or until prunes soften and most liquid has evaporated.

Let cool, then mash with a fork.

In a large bowl, whip the cream until soft peaks form.

Gradually pour in the sweetened condensed milk, beating constantly.

Fold in the orange zest.

Drop spoonfuls of the prune mixture into the cream mixture and gently swirl with a fork.

Pour into the prepared pan, cover, and freeze overnight (at least 8 hours).

To serve, briefly dip the pan in hot water, invert onto a serving plate, remove plastic wrap, and let soften in the refrigerator for 10 minutes before slicing.

Optional: garnish with gingerbread crumbs and orange slices.
