Banana and Prune Energy Balls

You can call them energy balls or protein bites, but no matter what, we call them the perfect, whole body wellness snack. The flax and prune bring the fiber, while the almond butter, oats, and hemp seeds bring the protein. These should find a place in your fridge at all times!

Ingredients

1/3 cup Sunsweet Amaz!n Prunes packed

1/3 cup mashed banana

1/4 cup smooth almond butter

1 tbs maple syrup

1 cup rolled oats

1/4 cup walnuts

1 1/2 tbs ground flax seeds

1 1/2 tbs hemp seeds

3/4 tsp cinnamon

Pinch kosher salt

Directions

To the bowl of a food processor, add the prunes, banana, almond butter, and maple syrup, and process on high until the ingredients form a smooth, well-combined paste.

 

Add the oats, walnuts, flax seeds, hemp seed, cinnamon, and salt, and process until the ingredients are well combined.

 

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. With a small scoop, or by hand, portion out 12-13 equal-sized portions, then roll them into balls. If needed, place the balls in the refrigerator to firm up. Store in the refrigerator.
