Sunsweet Fruit Compote

Ingredients
Sunsweet Fruit Compote
  • 1/2 tsp grated orange rind
  • 1 lemon, quartered
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 3 tbsp brandy
  • 1/4 tsp whole cloves
  • 1/2 cup Sunsweet Pitted Prunes, halved
  • 1/2 cup Sunsweet Dried Apricots
  • 1/2 cup Sunsweet Jumbo Red Raisins
  • 1/2 cup Sunsweet Premium Dried Cherries
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
Instructions

Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 20 minutes. Cool. Discard cloves, cinnamon, and lemon.

Note: Store compote in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Serves 8

Tip: 1/2 cup Sunsweet Dried Cranberries can be substituted for cherries.
